One more thing that adds feather to this campus is that the curriculum does not only involve regular classes and assignments but also real-life simulation and field visits like Rural Immersion Program (RIP). RIP is a step towards providing students with practical and socially oriented approach to learning. It is an initiative with an objective to sensitize the students of the institution towards the various schemes undertaken by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in villages and to study and analyse their execution & effectiveness. This year the scheme was that of Open Defecation on the lines of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The students were divided in groups of 7 and the groups were allotted villages from various districts. The students were to analyse the execution of open defecation scheme & take surveys of the villages to observe the actual level of implementation. This program is focused in making the students apply the classroom learnings to a real-life environment and also explore the rural markets and identify implementation gaps.
Which ABG company you want to work for and why?
I would want to work for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL). I have an inclination towards fashion since my undergraduate years and I have been doing fashion blogging as a casual hobby. With international brands like Forever 21, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Pantaloons etc. under their umbrella, ABFRL would be a best platform for me to learn & invest my business knowledge as well as my knowledge of fashion. I believe that ABFRL would be the place where I would truly enjoy working with something that I’m really interested in.
